Nicole & Tim

Nicole and Tim got married on a Saturday, July 18th, 2020, at Twenty Mile House in Graeagle. The ceremony was out in the forest, with wooden cross back chairs on the wood chips under the tall pines, wine barrels along the side and a white fabric arch up front. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos and the bridesmaids wore blush. I took the photo below from my DJ booth at 5:05, with the ceremony underway.

In the hour before the ceremony I played string quartet covers by Vitamin String Quartet, among them Shallow, Sweet Child O' Mine and A Sky Full of Stars. At 4:43 it turned to country with Born to Love You by LANCO and Millionaire by Chris Stapleton.

At 5:17 I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness came on, and from 5:34 it was classic rock with some country mixed in: The Boys Are Back In Town by Thin Lizzy, Hold On Loosely by 38 Special, Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf, Ring Of Fire by Johnny Cash, Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band, Barracuda by Heart and Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Later in the evening I played Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac, Fade Into You by Mazzy Star, Love Shack by The B-52's and The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson. By dusk the guests were seated at long wooden tables with candles on the brick patio in front of the brick house, with string lights across the trees, more lights wrapped around the trunks and a mirror ball hanging over the patio. I took the photo of the patio below at 8:39.

At 9:04 I played three slow songs in a row, Boots On A Dance Floor by Jon Wolfe, Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw and Rainbow Connection by Willie Nelson. At 9:12 the dance set started with Summer by Calvin Harris, and from there it was Footloose by Kenny Loggins, Cupid Shuffle by Cupid, Cha Cha Slide by DJ Casper, September by Earth, Wind & Fire and Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex.

After eleven came Jump Around by House Of Pain, Y.M.C.A. by Village People and Take On Me by a-ha, and Don't Stop Believin' by Journey went on at 11:54. The music kept going past midnight with Wannabe by Spice Girls and Crazy In Love by Beyoncé, and the last song of the night was Versace by Migos at 12:43.

32 Degrees Media filmed the day, from the bridesmaids spraying champagne to a first look in the pines and a walk along the railroad tracks. Their teaser is on this page.

Thank you, Nicole and Tim, for trusting me with your music.
