Reno Karaoke

What a great job by DJs in Reno! I feel like the DJ is the most important part of a wedding reception and Jon was fantastic!! He was able to keep the reception rolling at a nice smooth pace. The song selection always seemed to fit the mood for what the party needed. I don't know a lot about sound and equipment but his stuff sounded great. I don't know if I will have a need for a DJ in the future but if I do I will definitely give this guy call. He's got to be one of the best Reno DJs. Oh, and the karaoke at the end. So fun!! Don't get me started on his rendition of Banana Phone. Sooooo funny!! 10/

Jon was the DJ for my brother's wedding and I was very impressed with the music selection! He really kept the party going! Also, my brother is big into karaoke and Jon was able to run karaoke after the dancing. Everyone had a great time! If you need a DJ in the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe area, he's a great choice!

Jon DJ'd our wedding Reception. He was AMAZING even with this crazy pandemic. Our wedding plans were constantly changing due to the pandemic and Jon was able to roll with the constant changes. He had our guests dancing and singing all night. He did a great job MC'ing, and he provided all the equipment needed. One of our friends just kept saying on the dance floor "I don't know who this DJ is, but he's f*****g AMAZING". Everyone at our little wedding had so much fun. We're not the type of people who leave reviews often, but felt that we needed to take the time to leave a review for Jon because he is a ROCK STAR DJ. We highly recommend him for your event.

This past wknd., DJ Jon, provided music & entertainment for a birthday party my family hosted in the VC Highlands of Reno, NV. He was on time, prepared, professional, engaging, and took requests from the guests. When my husband needed the mic, Jon silenced the music, gave my man the opportunity to address our crowd and, Jon, just continued with our flow. He made himsrlf malleable to the needs as they arose. The wknd. weather was challenging, with the Washoe Zephyr winds making the outdoor gathering less than ideal; The Hawk fire broke out that afternoon. Unknown to me, at the time, he needed to reposition himself in a different area of the property, due to the winds. We used a generator to provide him power and he rolled with it all. When I came down to join the gathering everything appeared as if that had been the plan all along. He played my requested music, spun in a few extras, and kept us dancing despite the winds. He actually surpassed my expectations in competence and professionalism, and I would not hesitate to recommend, Jon Alder, to anyone at anytime, for one's music needs. He was a consummate professional! Plan a party & call Jon.

Jon with DJs in Reno was one of the first DJs we came across for our private residence birthday party. He was extremely easy to work with, provided all necessary planning documents well in advance, and was overly accommodating to our wishes. On the day of, it was extremely windy. Jon handled it like a pro. I've worked with a lot of DJs who have had bad attitudes, made mistakes, handled change poorly, drank on the job, etc. Jon could not have been further from this and for that we are so grateful. Mike made our family event so memorable! He had just about everyone up dancing (including bar tender who was feeling the vibe) with in minutes of plugging in. He's a crowd pleaser on so many levels with a smile on his face the whole time and very professional. You can tell he loves what he does and knows how to read the crowd. I'd hire him in a hot minute if I needed a DJ that I knew would please me and all my guests! Thank you Mike, you are a top tier DJ for sure!

I met Jon at another friends party where he was DJ'ing a couple years back. Since then, I have heard him DJ a couple of events and decided to have him DJ a birthday party I had hosted. He was a total hit! He even remembered my favorite songs from the first event I attended that he worked. He's great at reading the room and getting people dancing. Definitely highly recommend him for any event you may need music for!

Jon made my daughter's birthday party a real hit. Both the children & the adults enjoyed the music. As a bonus he lead them in dancing & played with the kids! It was so much fun we hired him for another party, and one of the guests hired him for their party! Best Dj in Reno!!!

Reno DJ John was fantastic at the wedding I attended this August. He knew exactly what music to play to entice people onto the dance floor, to keep them there dancing, and the keep the party going long into the wee hours of the morning. I highly recommend him! He clearly loves what he does, every foot was hopping including his. He is the best DJ I've listened to at a wedding!

Jon is hands down one of the best DJs in Reno! My first experience with Jon was when he was DJ-ing a friends wedding. It was such a fun night! Jon kept the hits coming! Smaller scale due to COVID restrictions but felt BIG with the dance floor full of happy people! As soon as my fiancé and I had our wedding date picked we knew exactly who we wanted to DJ our wedding. We gave Jon our list of must haves (and some have nots) and he worked his magic for the rest. Very much would recommend this Reno DJ!
