Having been to many events with a 'DJ,' there is clearly quite a variance. If you are looking for an actual DJ with professional mixes, not just playlists, who stays on top of the flow, then Jon is your man. After a noise complaint, it was awesome to see him work with the audience and deliver an incredible show.

I coordinated my dear friend's wedding last night and Jon was booked as the DJ. Jon was not only an awesome DJ, he arrived early, played great songs, provided all the emcee duties while being the most kind and accommodating DJ. This was a smaller wedding, Jon made sure no details were missed and tailored the music and activities to suit the group's preferences!

He was so awesome! He read the room perfectly and listened to every song request we had. His transitions were awesome and he made us have the best night ever!!!

Jon Alder was an enthusiastic and fun DJ here in Reno! I loved his setup, with his music system. He could take song requests, play off a playlist we sent, and mix in his own music. It's great when a DJ can take requests and play off a playlist, but it's also really unique to have a DJ that will also add and mix in his own music to create something unique and special.
