Hannah & Kyle

Hannah and Kyle got married on a Thursday in September 2020 at Twenty Mile House in Graeagle, with the ceremony out in the forest and about 119 guests.

While everyone found their seats in the pines, I kept soft piano and cello from The Piano Guys playing. The processional was Epiphany by The Piano Guys, and Hannah asked me to time it so she and her dad started down the aisle 2 minutes and 58 seconds into the song. A friend of theirs married them, and they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife to Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles.

Cocktail hour was on the General Store patio, where the bar poured their two signature drinks, The Hannah (a Mango Tango) and The Kyle (a Millennial Highball). Then I introduced them as the newlywedded Mr. and Mrs. Martinez, and they made their grand entrance to Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.

After dinner on the lawn and toasts from their family and friends, they cut the cake to I Can't Help Myself by The Four Tops. Their first dance was their own personalized cover of Hanging by a Moment. Hannah made a big change to that song at the very last minute, and we put it together in time.

Hannah danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Lauryn Evans, Kyle danced with his mom to A Mother's Song by Tcarter Music, and the married couples joined them for an anniversary dance to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.

The bouquet went out to Single Ladies by Beyoncé and the garter to You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC. Then the dance floor under the string lights filled up for Yeah! by Usher, Get Low by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, Cupid Shuffle by Cupid, Cha Cha Slide by DJ Casper, Y.M.C.A. by Village People and Dancing Queen by ABBA.

We closed the night with Forever by Chris Brown, the last dance they picked.
