Their Story
Danielle and Brandon found me on Google, and they booked me after our first phone call in July 2025. They got married on a Thursday in November at the Tannenbaum Event Center, halfway up the Mt. Rose Highway, in fall colors of muted orange, cream and green.
Before the ceremony they had their first look under the golden aspens. Brandon read Danielle a letter, she wiped away a tear, and then they both started laughing. Jessica Lillian Photography caught every bit of it.

The ceremony was unplugged, in the room with the tall windows and the pines outside. As guests found their seats I played acoustic covers from their own list, like Never Gonna Give You Up (Acoustic) by Callum J Wright and Like Real People Do by Hozier. Brandon walked down the aisle with his mom to Fly Me to the Moon by remorse, the wedding party came in to golden hour (Cello) by JVKE, and Danielle walked in with her dad to Cosmic Love by Midnite String Quartet.

They tied a handfasting cord around their hands, shared their first kiss in front of the windows, and walked back up the aisle to This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole. Brandon dipped Danielle for one more kiss on the way out.

For the photo dash, every table got beads from me, and the two of them made their rounds to the William Tell Overture by Rossini and Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky Korsakov. Then came the toasts in front of the stone fireplace.

Their dance floor opened early and stayed busy, with songs like Cheap Thrills by Sia, Howlin' for You by The Black Keys, I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas, 500 Miles by The Proclaimers and Thunderstruck by AC/DC.

Then we played a game. In Brandon's words, it was "a bit of a chaotic musical chairs scavenger hunt," and it was a blast. I started it with The Final Countdown by Europe, and we closed it with We Are The Champions by Queen.

Their first dance was Budapest by George Ezra. Danielle danced with her dad to You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker, and Brandon danced with his mom to Her Little Man by Jami Grooms.

Right after that, Hava Nagila had Brandon and then Danielle up in the air on their chairs, and Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan kept everyone on the floor.

Instead of a wedding cake, they split a churro from the churro truck. When the night was over, everyone headed down the mountain to keep the party going at the Grand Sierra Resort.

Their reviews even got me booked for a holiday party that December. Thank you, Danielle and Brandon, for having me up at the Tannenbaum.

Real reviews from Danielle & Brandon's celebration

Dj Jon was great! Jon was able to take calls with us and answer any questions during the planning process which made us feel secure and not at all stressed about the music situation for our wedding. He made sure the songs we requested were always played at the perfect times and kept our dance floor going throughout the night.
