The Story

Kevin Marchetti threw his Fourth of July party at his lakefront home in Tahoe City. The lawn runs right down to Lake Tahoe, with a long dock, boats tied up off the shore, a water slide out on the lake and an American flag on the big pine by the water.

I set up the DJ booth under an umbrella on the lawn, facing the lake, and played for five and a half hours as DJ and MC.

I opened with the Top Gun Anthem and kept the afternoon going with Sweet Home Alabama, Eye Of The Tiger, God Bless The USA, American Pie, Firework and Party In The USA.

Then came the surprise of the day. Trump impersonator John Di Domenico arrived by boat, and I played Hail to the Chief as he made his entrance. I shared my sound system and two mics with him for his act, and his cues were For The Love Of Money, Macho Man and YMCA.
