The Story
Sierra Air throws their Christmas party in the Naples Ballroom at the Peppermill, and I have been their DJ for it. It is karaoke, raffles, awards and dancing, all in one night.
One night the party ran from 6 to 11. I opened with Bitter Sweet Symphony, kept a mic ready for the raffles and awards, slipped in Last Christmas by Wham! halfway through, and closed with Espresso.
When we talked about bringing me back, I told them their party was my favorite gig of the whole year. The best crowd and the best vibe.
Another night karaoke was the star. The room cheered the singers on from the dance floor, and we finished with a line dance.
