The Story
Niki’s daughter Macie booked me for her mom’s 55th birthday at their home in Reno, and she called it Niki’s EPIC 55th Birthday Extravaganza. The theme was black and silver, and guests arrived at 6:30.
The dance floor was the heated patio, closed in for the winter, with a TV screen, lights and my booth all in one space. Once the dancing started I kept the fog machine rolling over the floor.
The crowd went from college students to grandparents, and they all danced. Fight For Your Right, Kids by MGMT, I Gotta Feeling and First Day Out by Tee Grizzley kept the floor full right up to 11.
Afterward Macie told me I made their vision come to life.
