The Story

The KICKER Monster Truck Show came to the Reno Livestock Events Center for three shows: a Friday night show, then a matinee and a night show on Saturday. The EnduroCross team booked me after I played their EnduroCross night, and a group of kids from Carson City who saw me there planned to come say hi.

Every show sold out. I played for about 2,000 people each time, from a booth at the rail right above the track.

Between runs I kept the arena loud with Thunderstruck, The Final Countdown and Bodies, and Y.M.C.A. came on at every show. At the Saturday matinee the kids got Baby Shark and the Chicken Dance.

Saturday night rolled with Life Is a Highway, God Bless the USA, Thunderstruck and We Are The Champions, and Closing Time sent everyone home at the end of every show.
