I love it when a wedding becomes a full on Dance Party!

Hailing from the Las Vegas area, Joan and Kyle did not disappoint. Their heartfelt ceremony at Twenty Mile House in Graeagle, California was followed by an all out rager of a wedding reception! It was truly one for the record books. Their friend Denver is a professional DJ, and he plugged his USB into my controller about halfway through the night. He has plenty of experience DJing on huge sound systems and art cars at Burning Man, and it was so fun to see him play at this wedding!

Even though Joan and Kyle's wedding was near the peak of one of the worst fire seasons in the Reno Tahoe area in history, we made the best of it. If anyone reading this remembers the "hell" year of 2020, it was no joke! I remember not being able to see the sun for months at a time in Reno. However, at this wedding, it wasn't too bad. The smoke added an almost mystical vibe, and luckily it did not affect the festivities.

Certain people just have that indescribable aura about them that makes you smile. Joan and Kyle definitely have it! I loved how silly, light hearted, and jovial they were at their wedding. They definitely don't take themselves too seriously and it shows in the very best way. Their wedding was fun, relaxed, sentimental, hilarious, and very high energy.

My favorite part about this wedding and this couple was how much fun they had. I personally feel that the amount of fun you have at your wedding is the best indicator of how successful it is. When it comes to weddings, fun is the most important emotion. For you, your guests, and all of your friends and family.

Why? Because at the end of the day, your wedding is a celebration of your love for each other. Emphasis on CELEBRATION!

Not only was Joan rocking a designer wedding gown onesie after a costume change, but it wasn't long before the entire dance floor transformed into a giant twerk off, complete with multiple bridesmaids twerking on the guard rail in front of the DJ booth. I seriously wish that all weddings were this fun!

Not only was their wedding a total blast, but they were super nice to meet before, during, and after. They were also sure to take care of me, and tipped me $200 cash!

I'll also never forget how they gifted every guest little jars of honey to commemorate their special day. This was a very sweet touch, and I enjoyed that honey for months after their wedding.
